The winter season starts with the most beautiful time of the year: Christmas is just around the corner and a magical atmosphere is in the air. Enjoy Christmas time to the fullest extent and stroll through the nearby Christmas markets of Ortisei, Castelrotto, Chiusa and many more.
In winter, the location of our house is particularly convenient: the well-known Val Gardena ski resort – the ideal connection to the world-famous Dolomiti Superski circuit – is at only 7 km from San Pietro. 1,200 kilometres of ski slopes are a real paradise for ski or snowboard enthusiasts. The Alpe di Siusi, the largest alpine pasture in Europe, is also easily accessible. The Alpe di Siusi offers the opportunity to practice many other winter sports, such as tobogganing, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, and is also the ideal place to take a ride in a horse-drawn carriage or for walks with children. The cosy mountain huts invite visitors to warm up and relax. Whether on the ski slopes, trails, toboggan runs or on foot: winter fun is guaranteed for everyone.
